About Michelle Griffin
Born and raised in Scotland, my plan once upon a time was to emigrate to Canada. But I had no qualifications to get a decent job so after doing a survey with friends and family about what job would be good for me, they said nursing or teaching.
At the time I was a childminder and teaching did not attract me. For nursing I was interested in psychology, I had even wanted to be a psychologist when I was in school, so I decided to start training in mental health nursing. Learning about the brain has always been interesting to me.
But nursing wasn’t going to be what I thought it would be and I knew it would not give me job satisfaction. At the same time I had joined Herbalife, and realised it would be a great business to get into. And with 2 kids I decided to stay in Scotland and focus on it, and 12+ years later it was clearly a solid decision and it’s still going pretty great.
I’m not a salesperson (I was rubbish at working in call centres), so helping people achieve their desired results, whether that’s anything to do with weight, body maintenance, energy levels, mental clarity, sports performance, recovery, or nutritional support, is what keeps me going. I do this for the satisfaction of helping someone else.
Herbalife and ADHD
I was only diagnosed officially with ADHD a couple of years ago, but it was always thought I had it. As a child my mum would call me a weirdo, I was always different, the odd one out with friends, in a world of my own – just spaced out. But in Herbalife, I have never felt like an outsider. I am unique, but I fit in well. There are so many different types of people in the company, it’s safe and welcoming. You’re encouraged to be yourself rather than pigeonholed into anything.
Being part of Herbalife means that you’re self-employed and have full autonomy over what you do on a daily basis, but also you have the support of a multi-billion dollar company so you are not on your own. There are lots of different ways of doing this business, you can change things up when you’re bored and are able to do things solo, but you always have that security of working with a company.
Plus the products that Herbalife has is ideal for ADHD as it encourages good nutrients and getting the most out of your body. And people with ADHD this is needed even more so, and I love having conversations about it all.
Success Stories
I have personal experience with Herbalife products, having gone through it all myself when it comes to brain health and gut health. I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been and the best shape since I was a teenager. I know I can support people through for whatever their needs are, and getting their positive feedback makes it all worthwhile.
I’m all about Nourishment not Punishment. I want to help people to feel good no matter what. Do you need support in achieving your wellness goals? I would love to have a chat.
Here is just a small selection of people who I’ve helped feel better in themselves.

Sharon came to me to lose weight, she first did a challenge we were running for weight loss that was 12 weeks long. During that time she went from a size 24 down to 12. But, she only lost 11lbs and was distraught. She was so focused on just the numbers she was miserable. She had lost fat and built muscle, so it took some time for her to be happy with what the mirror showed and not the scale. I was able to help her realise she had achieved her goal, it just didn’t come in the exact way she had imagined it.

Isla first came to my fitness classes adamant that she would never try any Herbalife product. But she had some health issues, IBS etc. and she tried the shakes and had phenomenal results. It became her daily routine and she had a complete turnaround with her digestive issues. One time when she was on holiday wasn’t having her shakes, her stomach pain started again. Luckily I was able to source her some product so she could enjoy the rest of her holiday with no gut issues.

Amanda came to see me because she was getting married. She had gotten a dress that just about managed to close, but by the time of the wedding it had to be brought down 2 sizes.
Not only that, she danced the night away and felt so comfortable in her body she was the life of the party, when usually she would be shy in the corner.

Shawn was working on the roads and spent his days working, eating fast food, and sleeping. We talked about what I could do to help him and decided on giving him nutrients that would give him more energy. And it worked, he no longer sleeps 12 hours a day.

Lisa suffered a stroke in her 30s and struggled with mobility issues and was feeling miserable in herself. We were introduced and decided to take it just one day at a time, and slowly but surely she started feeling better and socialising more and got her life back.

James was a heavy drinker and his doctor told him he had issues and needed to sort himself out. While he did not stop drinking entirely he cut down a lot and got some good nutrients going into his body. At his next appointment his doctor told him that whatever he was doing to keep it up as it was working well.
